LAU won first place at the 11th Lebanese Collegiate Programming Contest (LCPC). The winning team –  Computer Science students Karam Al Kontar, Amer Hajj Ahmad and Ali Ayash – was supervised by Professor of Computer Science Faisal Abu-Khzam. Assistant Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences Samer Habre also received the LCPC Outstanding Contribution Award.
