Marking the International Day of Disabled Persons, LAU welcomed Lebanese athlete/UN Goodwill Ambassador for Climate Action Michael Haddad and U.S. Ambassador Dorothy Shea, who toured SOE’s ELRC Building – the site for developing Haddad’s exoskeleton. Haddad has defied his disability through record-breaking missions. Most recently, he walked from the UN HQ to Karantina Hospital in Beirut to raise funds.
