LAU President Michel E. Mawad has been listed among the top 2% scientists worldwide in his field, Nuclear Medicine & Medical Imaging, in a study conducted by Stanford researchers. Dr. Mawad’s research over his 40-year career has focused on cerebrovascular disease, resulting in more than 107 publications in prestigious medical and scientific journals, six book chapters, and 211 scientific papers.
