Assistant Professor of Chemistry Elias Akoury has received funding for a research project, Tackling Drug Discovery in Alzheimer’s Disease, from the International Society for Neurochemistry through its Committee for Aid and Education in Neurochemistry. Part of the project falls under SoAS’ signature Undergraduate Research and Discovery (URaD) program, involving chemistry undergrads Celina Salam, Dana Kaafarani, Vanessa Tarraf and Siham Bazzi.
