The LAU School of Engineering has obtained renewed accreditation till 2029 from the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for five of its bachelor programs in Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering. Two additional programs, Mechatronics and Petroleum Engineering, have been accredited for the first time with a retroactive action to October 2020.
