Dr. Rana Rizk will co-lead two collaborative research projects funded by the Research Incentive Fund grant at Zayed University, UAE. Focused on optimizing health outcomes, the projects will explore nutrition teaching strategies in higher education and the effectiveness of the plant-dominant low-protein diet (PLADO) in managing chronic kidney disease through a randomized controlled trial at the LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital, with Ms. Joelle Abi Kharma and Dr. Hala Kilani contributing as researchers.
