On January 8, LAU received the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reporting Certificate from the Ministry of Environment (MoE) during a seminar titled Planning through Crisis: Climate Progress and Challenges, organized by the MoE and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Chief Sustainability Officer Nadim Farajalla accepted the award on behalf of LAU for data prepared by the university’s Facilities Management, highlighting LAU’s commitment to environmental accountability. The event also united stakeholders to address challenges and advance sustainable development.
