The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) has awarded the 2021 Excellence Award to LAU’s Student Chapter, recognizing them among the top 20 worldwide, for the second year in a row. Associate Professor and Petroleum Engineering Program Coordinator Caesar Abi Shdid said that “winning this award despite Lebanon’s compounded challenges is testament to the resilience of LAU’s students.”
