Research.com’s eighth edition of top scientists has ranked LAU’s Dean of the School of Engineering Lina Karam among the world’s leading scientists in Computer Science and No. 1 in Lebanon. In 2020, Dr. Karam had also made the top two percent scientists worldwide list in a Stanford study published in PLOS Biology for her research on AI and image processing.
