Speaking at the Times Higher Education (THE) MENA Universities Summit in Kuwait, President Michel E. Mawad gave a compelling argument on how LAU revamped its liberal arts and sciences program to “capture the spirit of the major problems that our world is facing.” By bringing the liberal arts and civic engagement together, LAU aims to enhance student employability and address the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
