Associate Professor of Physics Jimmy Romanos has been granted the prestigious Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers for 2023. This recognition – LAU’s third – highlights Dr. Romanos’ research on the thermodynamic modeling of gases at the atomic scale and its applications in the development of new energy storage technologies. This enhances our understanding of the stability of methane hydrates and their implications on climate change.
