After his recent election to the new executive board of the Asian University Sports Federation, LAU Senior Director of Athletics Sami Garabedian has been elected as an executive board member of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) for the 2023-2027 term. The federation, founded in 1949, organizes international sports competitions for student-athletes, expanding the role and reach of university sports worldwide.
