The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), a global leader in the profession, approved the LAU School of Engineering’s request to establish a new student chapter on May 25, 2025, which adds to other LAU chapters affiliated with major engineering societies such as the IEEE, ASCE and ASME. The AIChE chapter will enhance student engagement in chemical engineering and pave the way for a new campus club, offering undergraduates valuable leadership and project management opportunities through competitions, conferences, and networking.
