On November 10, 2025, LAU signed an MOU with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VT), US, paving the way for collaboration between the LAU School of Engineering and VT’s AI Assurance and Applications Lab (A3 Lab). The partnership will support joint research programs, focusing on critical challenges in water and agriculture through advanced AI and data-driven technologies, and the co-supervision of undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students.
