The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Lebanon Section has awarded the LAU Student Branch first place for 2024 out of 22 national IEEE student branches. The branch’s record membership of 113 students and more than 25 events held throughout the year set a standard of excellence that resonated across the IEEE community in Lebanon. Members Taline Saad, Elian Rezk, Ghadi Eid, and Elissa Diab received the award from IEEE Lebanon Section Chair Nazih Moubayed during its General Assembly on June 14, 2025.
