LAU Salutes Decades-Long Staff Dedication
The Human Resources Department recognized some of the university’s longest-serving staff and bid farewell to retirees in two uplifting ceremonies.
Reflecting LAU’s close-knit community, the university’s Human Resources Department recognized long-serving staff, and honored this year’s retirees at the annual Staff Service Recognition and Farewell ceremonies held on June 23 at the Beirut campus and on June 24 at the Byblos campus.
The celebrations opened with a video featuring staff members in action, followed by remarks from Executive Director of Staff Relations & Development Grace Lebbos, Vice President for Administration Roy Majdalani, and LAU President Chaouki T. Abdallah, who warmly thanked the staff for their commitment to the university, especially through trying times.

Service trophies marking 10, 20, 30, and 40 years of service were presented, and retirement parting gifts were given in recognition of the recipients’ lasting contributions to LAU, as their peers cheered them on in an atmosphere of collegiality.
