The LAU campuses buzzed with more than 10,000 new and returning students as the 2026-2027 academic year got underway. Orientation began on August 28, 2026, with a live online session, followed by a two-day vibrant welcome coordinated by the Deans of Students Offices in collaboration with LAU’s schools and support offices on August 31 and September 1.

Both the Beirut and Byblos campuses turned into hubs of activity for the occasion.

Information booths staffed by current students greeted newcomers.

Students were also guided through interactive games designed to ease their transition into university life.

Student-success offices, faculty, and staff were on hand to introduce their programs and services.

Clubs and LAU Athletics gave attendees new ways to connect through live matches and music performances.
