On February 23, the Center for Innovative Learning (CIL) at LAU inaugurated its Ed Tech Unit, a dedicated lab designed to help faculty create immersive learning experiences using virtual and extended reality. Equipped with VR headsets and workstations, the unit allows students to explore fully immersive environments, said Assistant Provost for Educational Resources and Innovation Jordan Srour. It also provides a space where faculty can collaborate with CIL supervisors to enhance the learning experience for today’s learners by developing tailored VR and AI class content.
