Dr. Sima Tokajian, professor of microbial genomics at the School of Arts and Sciences has been selected for her work on sequencing and revealing circulating variants to represent Lebanon at the United Nations technical briefing on COVID-19 Genome Sequencing. The panel was organized by the permanent missions of the UK and Lebanon to the UN with the World Health Organization.
