LAU students can now gain professional training in an innovative approach to empowering women and peacebuilding through internships at the Intisar Foundation, thanks to a memorandum of understanding signed between LAU and the foundation. The NGO founded by Kuwaiti philanthropist and member of the LAU Board of Trustees HE Sheikha Intisar AlSabah uniquely employs drama therapy to alleviate psychological trauma in Arab women impacted by war and violence.
