An art exhibition of avant-garde artists Helen Khal’s and Jean Khalifé’s works at LAU commemorates their 100th birthday. Helen Khal, who published The Woman Artist in Lebanon in collaboration with the then-known Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World – currently The Arab Institute for Women (AIW) – once proudly taught the craft of art at LAU from 1977 to 1980.
