Dr. Mariana El Helou, clinical assistant professor and head of Emergency Medicine at the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine, led a three-day training workshop on Mass Casualty Management held by the WHO and the Ministry of Public Health. Hospital leaders from across Lebanon attended. Dr. El Helou, who holds leadership roles in international health organizations, is dedicated to sharing her ER and disaster management expertise to help enhance emergency preparedness in local hospitals.
