Fashion design alumna and winner of the Prix du Jury 2021 Nour Takieddine (BFA ’21), currently pursuing her master’s at Parsons Paris, was among six students selected to present their creation to Donatella Versace. Responding to Versace’s brief on a pop-culture look, Takieddine, the only student from the Middle East, drew on her heritage, imprinting her outfit with images of Lebanese icon Fairuz, Roman pillars, and adorning it with more than 2,600 beads.
