LAU signed a strategic MOU with Project Management Institute (PMI), facilitated by the PMI Lebanon Chapter, on May 13, 2026, at the LAU Beirut campus, reinforcing pathways between academic learning and professional practice.

The agreement was signed by AKSOB Dean Dima Jamali and PMI Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa Hanny Alshazly, represented by Diana Al Chaar.

The partnership will expand student access to globally recognized project management resources, online training, certification pathways, and industry expertise, while supporting applied research, case development, student engagement, and stronger connections to the wider project management community.
